Cut to 2010, I embarked on a whirlwind and unplanned trip to Goa along with my friends in August, an ideal time to visit the beach destination. The trip remains memorable for several reasons.
While the novel disease compelled us to rethink things that we had so far taken for granted, and lives became more homeward bound, I grew intrinsically attached to the place that has been my home for the last 27 years.
I was asked to resume work from the office. And joining the office meant a Covid test. And Covid test meant going to a hospital – something I detest. It didn’t help that I wasn’t confident about being negative – despite following all the health guidelines to the T.
