Ever wondered how a word – just with a simple prefix added to it – can mean differently?
Sanity means logic and sense. But when you add ‘in’ to it, the word becomes Insanity ….and the meaning …well, you all know it!
The prefix shoves reason and logic down the dark alley and one becomes illogical and unreasonable.
The unsurpassable beauty of the English Language!
For now, let’s talk about the insaan of today or let me say Insane Insaan …
The insane insaan is all around us. In fact, we all are a part of this insanity.
What we are facing today is the result of our insanity.
The virus is just an excuse…it’s actually the effect and after effect of our feckless nature and attitude.
And even after more than 6 months of this virus going viral, there is no stench of guilt in man.
One window of opportunity and true to his nature, humans acts innocuously, surrounding the liquor shops and the markets as if life will come to an end if he doesn’t get his quota of beer and beverages!!
We fail to understand that the unlocks to these lockdowns are for economical reasons and not that things are normal and one can be out merrymaking …because we are fed up of staying inside!!
CARPE DIEM ..will definitely not work in the present scenario.
Before this insanity leads to more insanity, let’s make an effort to permanently delete the “in” in insanity and live according to the true essence of sanity.
Remember, if you can’t go out ….you can still go within!
